in 1994 the UK was still part of the EU and a law was passed to basically say
that from then forward any manufacturer of shaver sockets had to make
facilities for them to accept the EU2 pin. Therefore, if you have a bathroom
shaver socket that was made after 1994, these USB adapters with the EU2 pins
will work. The easy way to tell is if you've got two circles. As long as
there's a cutout within those two circles, it will accept the EU2 pins. They
work fine. They're not as tight to fit as the UK version, but unfortunately
nobody makes a UK2 pin to USB.
