Will I get on with an Electric rechargeable shaver?
Answer
If you have never used an electric shaver before and this will be your first dry shaver your skin will require a period of time to get used to your new shaving method. Your facial skin may become slightly irritated and feel sensitive after shaving typically under the chin area. The following advise will help with the new shaving method:
• Shave with the new shaver every day for at least two weeks.
• Always wash your face prior to shaving or rub on some Pre-Shave (available at most chemists).
• To begin with take a little longer when you are shaving. (click here to view our article on how to shave with an electric shaver.
• Make circular movements across the skin with the shaver and do not exert too much pressure but try and keep the skin tight.
• Most modern shavers have a cleaning routine for after every shave.
After approx 14 days, your skin will have become used to the new shaving method.
